Abstract

Objective To observe the clinic value of T-Lymphocytes and humoral immunity in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection(RRI).Methods Blood samples were taken from 35 RRI children and 35 normal children. The percentage of T-lymphocytes subsets and immunoglobulin IgA、IgG、IgM were measured. Results The percentage of the total lymphocytes,CD4,CD4/CD8 were obviously lower than that in healthy control group(P=0.014;P=0.000;P=0.000),and CD8 in the RRI group was higher than that in healthy control group(P=0.000)The levels of IgG and IgA in the RRI group were lower than the normal reference value(P=0.000;P=0.000).Conclusion The deficiency of T-lymphocytes and humoral immunity may be existing, and cell-mediated immune disorder is more obviously in RRI.It could guide the prevention and treatment for RRI.
