Abstract
Objective To study the surgical techniques in rat orthotopic liver transplantation and the prophylaxis and management of perioperative complications.Method The rat orthotopic liver transplantation models were established by modified Kamada's two cuff technique with 160 donators and 160 recipients.Result The 48-hour survival rate was 46.7% and 95.0% in 120 recipients performed during the early stage,and 40 performed in the later stage respectively.Conclusion The sufficient quantum anaesthesia,perfect skills of donator liver liberation and lavage,and the sophisticated microsurgical manipulations are the keys to rat orthotopic liver transplantation.
