Preliminary Study on Assessment of Environmental Impact of Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant

Based on the wastewater treatment plant project characteristics,this paper systematically introduces the focuses on environmental impact evaluation such as building site analysis,water quantity and water quality analysis,wastewater treatment process in the construction period;such priorities of evaluation as analysis of tail water's impact on the receiving rivers and the impact of odor on the surrounding environment in operating period are also explored during construction period;as well as the end of the wastewater treatment plant sludge treatment/disposal problem also explored.Finally,it is pointed out that only reasonable assessment of environmental impact for urban sewage treatment plants can provide valuable advice for environmental management and design departments and give full play to its proper social and environmental benefits.
