Clinical observation on therapeutic efficacy of traditional chinese medicine qinggan huoxue tuihuang decoction in treating chronic hepatitis B with jaundice

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine qinggan huoxue tuihuang decoctionon in treating chronic hepatitis B with jaundice.Methods:Eighty patients with chronic hepatitis(CBH) were randomly divided into two groups and each group has forty patients.The two groups were treated with conventional therapy which were fed with lamivudine and reduced glutathione、Diammonium Glycyrrluzinate for injection.The experiment group was added with qinggan huoxue tuihuang decoction,and both groups have a therapeutic course for four weeks.After this treatment,the changes of the main symptoms,aminotransferase(ALT)、Aspertate aminotransferase(AST)、total bilirubin(TBIL) and direct bilirubin(DBIL)were compared,and the safety was assessed in two groups which were followed up for six months to observe the long-term efficacy.Results:After the treatment,the main symptoms,ALT、AST、 TBIL、DBIL of the two groups were improved than that of before(P0.05,P0.01),but in the lower DBIL、TBIL aspects and the recurrence rate in experiment group over matched the control group(P0.05).Conclusion:The main symptoms,and liver function were significantly improved with the traditional Chinese medicine qinggan huoxue tuihuang decoction,which was safe,low in recurrence rate,and worth further promotion.
