Abstract
Objective To optimize the ultrasonic extraction process and establish a method for the determination of total flavonoids in Abrus cantoniensis Hance. Methods With the content of 6-C-glycopyranosyl-8-C-glycopyranosyl apigenin as index, the total flavonoids were determined by TEA-UV-VIS method, and the extraction technology was optimized by L9(34) orthogonal method. Results The linear range of 6-C-glycopyranosyl-8-C-glycopyranosyl apigenin was 0.000 507-0.101 4 mg/mL(r=0.999),and the average recovery was 99.72%(RSD=1.54%).The influencing factors of ultrasonic extraction arran-ged in order were as follows: ultrasonic extracting timeethanol concentrationextracting timessolid-liquid ratio, and ultrasonic extracting time was the significant influence factors.Optimal technology was: ultrasonic extraction twice with 20 times of 50% ethanol by 45 minutes each time. The average amount of total flavonoids was 4.655 mg/g.Conclusion TEA-UV method had good specificity and stability and can be used to determine and evaluate the total flavonoids in Abrus cantoniensis Hance. The optimized process was stable and available.
