Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To establish differential spectrophotometry method for determining phenol and to eliminate interference of excipient.METHODS:Determining ΔA different ultraviolet spectrum of phenol in 0.1mol·L -1 NaOH and water, detection wave length 288nm.RESULTS:The recovery was 99.8%, RSD =0 12%.CONCLUSION:The method is simple and accurate.
