Abstract
OBJECTIVE To establish a method for the determination of phenol in phenol ear drops.METHODS Ultravoilet spectrophotometry was used to determine the content of phenol at wavelength 270nm.RESULTS The content of phenol in phenol ear drops presented a good linear relationship over the range of 10~30mg·L~(-1)(r=0.9997).The average recovery was 99.7%,RSD 0.76%(n=5).CONCLUSION This method used in this study is simple, accurate, stable and can be reliable for the quality control of phenol ear drops.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
