Evaluation of Serum CA125、CA199 and CA153 Detection in Ovarian Tumors

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical value of serum CA125、CA199 and CA153 levels.Methods Preoperative serum CA125、CA199 and CA153 levels were evaluated in 190 patients with ovarian tumors by microparticle enzyme-immumoassay(MEIA).The follow-up clinical response was also investigated.Results The mean value of CA125、CA199 and CA153 in malignant ovarian tumors was higher than that in benign tumors(P0.05).The sensitivity and specificity of CA125 detection in ovarian carcinoma were 83.3% and 71.6%,those of CA199 were 52.4% and 86.0%,and sensitivity of combined CA153 、CA199 and CA153 was 97.6%.The levels of CA125、CA199 and CA153 were correlated with prognosis by follow up study.Conclusion Detection of serum CA125、CA199 and combination with detection of CA153 may increase the sensitivity for the diagnosis of ovarian carcinoma,and be valuable in monitoring postoperative disease conditions.
