Analysis on the clinicopathologic characteristics of 228 cases of primary lung cancer

Objective To summarize the clinicopathologic characteristics of primary lung cancer,and to provide information for the clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods The relationship between the pathological features and the age,sex were analyzed in 228 cases of primary lung cancer.Results In the male patients,the incidence of squamous cell carcinoma was the highest(38.93%).In the female patients,the incidence of adenocarcinoma was the highest(49.37%).The incidence of squamous cell carcinoma increased significantly with age,while the incidence of adenocarcinoma decreased significantly(P0.05).The incidence of other types of lung cancer showed no statistically significant deference with the age.Conclusion The incidence of primary lung cancer is higher in male patients than female patients.Paying attention to the pathological features is of great importance to the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.
