Abstract

The relationship between efficacy of chinensis and content of berberine in couplet medicine was studied to find the law of compatibility of chinensis using high performance liquid chromatography( RP- HPLC). The chromatography conditions were as follows: the chromatographic column of Agilent C18( 150 × 5 mm,5 μm),with a mobile phase of acetonitrile- monopotassium phosphate( 0. 02 mol / L)( 35 ∶ 65),at a flow of 1m L / min,the detection wavelength was 345 nm,and the column temperature was at room temperature. The metood showed a good linear relationship of berberine hydrochloride in the range of 0. 001 ~ 0. 25 mg / m L( r = 0. 999 3),the concentration of berberine hydrochloride in various drugs of compatibility of chinensis in the range of 0. 273% ~ 0. 606%,the group of Coptis chinensis + Evodia rutatecarpaand Coptis chinensis + Gentianof the highest content, the group of Coptis chinensis + Phellodendronof the lowest content. The change rules of the content of active ingredients was explored based on the effect providing a new development direction for traditional Chinese medicine to research and development of new drugs.
