Abstract

Objective To study the variation and clinical significance of heart rate variability(HRV) in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods Totally 50 coronary heart disease patients without arrhythmia(coronary heart disease group),30 coronary heart disease patients with arrhythmia(arrhythmia group) and 52 normal persons(control group) were enrolled. The 24-hours dynamic electrocardiograph HRV indicator comparison was made between the three groups. Results The indicators of HRV time domain analysis were: SDNN,SDANN,RMSSD,PNN50,HF and LF.The indicators of SDNN,SDANN,RMSSD,PNN50 and HF were lower and the indicator of HF was higher in coronary heart disease group and arrhythmia group compared with those in control group, with significant differences. The abnormal changes of HRV indicators were worsen in arrhythmia group compared with those in coronary heart disease group. Conclusion In patients with coronary heart disease, the regulatory function of the cardiac autonomic nerve is damaged, the activity of the vagus nerve is decreased and the sympathetic nerve activity is dominant.
