Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics and high risk factors of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome(OHSS).Methods:56 cases of OHSS were selected as study group and 40 cases of non-OHSS as control group. Then the OHSS group was divided into mild, moderate and severe OHSS.Clinical data of 56 OHSS patients and 40 non-OHSS were analyzed retrospectively, including patient age, body mass index, infertility causes, infertility age, serum levels of sex hormones, ultrasound monitoring follicle number,super-ovulation induction programs and gonadotropin(Gn)dosage. Results:OHSS mainly occurred after pro-ovulation treatment.Polycystic ovary syndrome or ovary polycystic,pro-ovulation treatment by using HMG-HCG,E2 levels and ultrasound for monitoring the number of follicles on the day HCG injected were the high risk factors of OHSS.Conclusion:Ovulation induction process should be followed in the low-dose and individual principle, choose ovulation induction programs flexibly in accordance with different individuals to prevent the occurrence of OHSS.
