Abstract
By using conventional observation data and T213 model output material,the passage analysed the process of a regional rainstorm in Chengdu on August,25.The analysis showed that the circulation background for the rainstorm process was that after the subtropical high pressure from south east,the quickly moving plateau system affects Chengdu region and the formation mechanism of the south subtropical peripheral airflow was combined with cold Hetao area south triggered local unstable energy.It also proceeded the numerical simulation to this process by using WRF model.The simulated result showed that WRF model can simulate the rainstorm circulation background and weather situation effectively,and it still can simulate the precipitation and duration.The simulation of rainfall center was basically available.
