Analysis on Farmers′ Satisfaction with Rural Basic Medical and Health Services-Based on Data from Jiangsu Province

The goal for the supply of rural basic medical and health service is to meet rural people′s needs and improve their satisfaction.The major objective of this paper is to research rural people′s satisfaction and actual needs on the supply of basic health care service in Jiangsu Province.The result shows that village health institution provides the main access to the basic medical and health services for rural people,with the shortage in qualified rural doctors and medical equipments.In addition,the satisfaction scale and needs for public health care service appear unbalanced at present.It is urgent to increase public finance investment in village health institution and improve the qualification of rural doctors.Also,the priority of basic medical and health service supply must be identified for the purpose of safeguarding rural people′ health interests.
