Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the curative effect of excimer laser in situ keratomileusis(LASIK) for myopia with different diopters. Methods: 996 eyes(myopia ranging from-0.50 to-19.50D) of 500 cases underwent LASIK and followed up one year. After 1 month,3 months,6 months and 12 months, reexamined visual acuity. Results: The uncorrected visual acuity(UCVA)and diopter tended to be normal in 1~6 months after operation. The average UCVA after one year was more than preoprerative. Conclusion: LASIK has an ideal effect to treat myopia, and has safe, effective, good predictability, and good postoperative stability advantages.
