Abstract

The tea sample treatment has been adopted by wet decomposition with HNO_3 and HClO_4. The content of Zn, Ca, Cu, Mn, Mg and Fe etc. in tea is determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS). The sample does not need beneficiation and extraction while determination. The operating procedures are simple and the recovery is between 95%-103%. The relative standard deviation is no more than 5.8% and the results are therefore satisfactory
