Abstract
The distribution of halotolerant and halophilic bacteria in brine and sediment samples from three salt fields of Dinghai,Zhujiajian and Daishan in Zhoushan was investigated in the winter, spring and summer from 2006 to 2007.Using NaCl as the limiting growth factor, the preliminary identification and culture counting of halophilic bacteria in samples were studied by using three solid media with high salt, moderate salt and low salt. The results showed that the colony morphology, cell shape and numerical distribution of halophilic bacteria in brine pan were different. And the number of halophilic bacteria in sediment was 101-102 higher than that in brine.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
