Abstract

This article concerns the mind's experience of Wang Wei who is regarded as a hermit in the text. At his early age, Wang Wei took an active part in social life, filling an official by living in seclusion, and you can find something. After Zhang Jiuling had been dismissed from the service, Wang Wei turned away from his official career little by little, and just from then on being a hermit had fresh significations to him: purifying his heart, pushing himself forward and alleviating the burden of fame and wealth. In the end, on the ground of Taoism, Buddhism made the poet realize the truth of void life and go back deep into heart.
