Abstract
The biology teaching research papers from 2001 to 2008 on the 6 major educational core periodicals were statistically analysed by the means of bibliometrics. The statistical analyses were focused on the following items on biology teaching in middle school: the annual number of papers published, the regional distributions of the first authors, the institutional unit distributions of the first authors, the status of papers collaborated, the distributions of high output institutional units, the types and distributions of funds, the types of research topics. The result reflected the present conditions of the biology teaching research and and can be a good reference for educational administration and researchers.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
