Nutritional Components in 13 kinds of Wild Plants Used as Medicine and Food in the Eastern of Gansu Province

This paper discussed the development prospect and present utilization situation of 13 kinds of wild medicinal and edible plants in the eastern of Gansu province.Results showed that Allium macrostemon,Sonchus brachyotus,Portulaca oleraeea,Capsella bursapastoris,Herba taraxaci,Kochia scoparia,Chenopodiam album had high nutritional value.Their taste was very good,taste delicious,which could treat many diseases with good curative effect,and high feeding value.Leonurus artemisia,Cephalanoplos segetum,Polygonum aviculare,Amaranthus retroflexus,Calystegia hederacea,and Sonchus oleraceus also had high nutritional value,but their fresh edible had poor taste,but the dried could drink as tea.They could cure many diseases especially good curative effect,also with high feeding value.Therefore,the wild medicinal and edible plants here have development and utilization prospects.
