Abstract

According to the investigation in different field samples in Fanjing Mountain and its adjacent areas since 2007,401 species of edible wild plants were recorded, which belong to 275 genera and 125 families, and occupy 85.03% families and 67.73% genera and 48.31% species of the total in Guizhou Province. And there are 270 species of tracheophyte and 128 species of fungoid and 3 species of algae. In accordance with the edible part, the edible plants can be divided into 6 kinds: edible root plants, edible stem plants, edible leaf plants, edible flower plants, edible fructification plants and edible other part plants, which occupy 4.74%,45.64%,45.14%,5.24%,20.45% and 32.92% of the total separately. In accordance with edible technique, the edible plants can be divided into 3 kinds: direct edible plants, edible general cooked plants, edible special treated plants, which occupy 15.02%,27.84%,and 80.59% of the total separately. In accordance with rare degree, the edible plants can be divided into 3 kinds too: edible rare endangered plants, edible precious plants and edible common plants.
