Abstract
Objective:To study the therapeutic effect of stem cell transplantation assisted mitomycin C for pterygium.Method:20 cases(26 eyes) with primary pterygium were cut down the pterygium under microscope and performed stem cell transplantation assisted motimycin C,and followed up for 6~8 months. Results:After 4~6 days, the corneal epithelium of 20 cases(26 eyes) were repaired,4 cases(4 eyes) were suspected recurrence. The cure rate was 84.7%.Conclusion:Stem cell transplantation assisted mitomycin C can effectively prevent recurrence and reduce the new injury from non- beside transplant,it is effect and safe for primary pterygium.
