The Consciousness of Curriculum and China's Reconstruction of the Basic Structure of Curriculum Study

With the development of globalization in China,the concept consciousness of curriculumreceive more and more attention which is relevant to the issues like curriculum localization and curriculum nationalization. The discussion of these problems is help to establish self- identity of our curriculum study,but it also hides a potential danger that will be misunderstood as the cultural conservatism. Cultural consciousness of curriculum is not a simple process of culture return but is a local curriculum development which contains a kind of looking for a universal value of mankind. Raimon Panikkar's Cross-Cultural Hermeneutics provide a rich reference model for the cultural consciousness of curriculum,that is through the method of comparing the concept deeply to achieve cultural encounter and deep exchange. Reconstruction of the basic structure of curriculum study on the basis of the cultural consciousness of curriculum regards the curriculum as a life body which would nourish itself positively in the dimension of time and space,so that it will open a deep and broad academic perspective.
