Cultural spirit : facts or values——On the predicament and outlet in the research of the basic spirit of the traditional Chinese culture

Cultural spirit refers to the inner and abstract structure of cultures. It is the ultimate basis of ideas. It's factual description instead of value supposition. Regardless of the extensive social life itself, partly because of lack of strict analysis of cultural spirit and partly because of the vaguedetermination of culture, the research is strictly limited to thinkers' classical works. Therefore, the discussion of the basic spirit of traditional Chinese cultrure in recent years is focused on either value orientation of classical Chinese culture or the version spirit of classical works.
