Abstract
Restoring literature spirit is especially important for today's literature which lacks spirit.Literature spirit is nested and inherited in a nation, and it is also connected in spirit with the literature of other nations, which forms a general link and identity of literature spirit. The essential components of literature spirit consist of the two fields of writing and criticism.Writing involves the reflection of social and cultural connotations, the digging and description of human nature and feeling, and the rational attitude toward the thoughts developing from human civilization.Literature criticism is the acknowledgement and promotion of the spirit of making progress.Restoring literature spirit is required not only by society but also by literature itself.
