Abstract

OBJECTIVE To study the effects of Yisuo cream on the model and assess it's clinical efficacy in acne vulgaris. METHODS Use 0.025% tretinoin cream as control, the test was performed in adolescence male rabbits and acne vulgaris. RESULTS Yisuo cream could reduce the diameter of the sebaceous glands and the area of the hair follicles significantly( P 0.05 , P 0.01 ). The effective rate of the Yisuo cream and the tretinoin cream were 86.7% and 71.7% , and the difference at effective rate between the two groups was significant ( P 0.05 ). The ADRs rate of 11.7% and 10.0% in test group and control group was observed, and there was no significant difference between the two groups( P 0.05 ).CONCLUSION Yisuo cream can reduce the diameter of the sebaceous glands and the area of the hair follicles in the rabbit model. It's clinical efficacy is higher than 0.025% tretinoin cream for acne vulgaris.
