Clinical value of transcatheter closure in perioperative of atrial septal defect with transthoracic echocardiography

Objective To explore the value of transthoracic echocardiography(TTE) guided transcatheterized on occlusion of atrial septal defect(ASD).Methods Selecting subjects and measuring size of the defect of the patients' ASD,completing the transthoracic occlusion of atrial septal defect under the monitoring of TTE,evaluating the effect ahead,during and after the transcatheter coloure of ASD in 60 cases by TTE.Results Nineteen patients were treated with occlusion device successfully under TTE guidance,and no complications and residual shunt flow were observed,the successful rate of occlusion was 95%(57/60).Conclusion TTE play a key role in peri-operation of transcatheter coloure of ASD.
