Observation of HBsAg Positive Status among Children Vaccinated Hepatitis B Vaccine in Zhangjiagang

Abstract
To provide basis for further improving Hepatitis B(HB)prevention measures,1942 children born during 1992～2000 were sampled with cluster-randomized sampling method to survey the HBsAg positive status among the children vaccinated Hepatitis B vaccine(HepBV) The results showed the HepBV coverage was 95 52% and HBsAg carrier rate was 1 34% among the children born during 1992-2000 Among the children with and without immunization history,the HBsAg positive rates were 1 08% and 6 90% respectively The HB protection rate was 84 35% among the vaccinated children Most of the non-vaccinated children were floating children
