Abstract

Objective:To study the effects of Sangshen Bunao Creams(SSBNG)on learning and memory ability in acquired disorder induced by Scopolamine and its preliminary mechanism. Methods:Sixty Kunming mice were randomly divided into control group, model group,SSBNG low, middle and high dose groups(1.3,2.6,3.9 g·kg-1),ten mice in each group. The mice were administrated once per day and 35 days later,Scopolamine was injected intraperitoneally to induce learning and memory acquired disorder in mice. The step-down test was adopted to reflect the learning and memory of mice and the colorimetric method was used to determine the enzyme activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and the content of malondialdehyde(MDA)in the brain tissue. Results:SSBNG could significantly promote the learning and memory capability of mice, increase the activities of SOD and reduce the contents of MDA in the brain tissue. Conclusion:SSBNG could improve the ability of learning and memory of model mice and its mechanism should be related to increasing the activities of SOD and decreasing the contents of MDA in the brain tissue.
