Clinical Observation on Methods Combined with Acupuncture in the Treatment of 30 Cases of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation with Spinal Stenosis

Objective: To observe and discuss the clinical effects on acupuncture combined with medication in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation and spinal stenosis. Method: 60 cases of lumbar disc herniation with spinal stenosis in our hospital from 2011 March to 2013 August were randomly selected, according to the patient's personal wishes, they were divided into observation group and control group, each group had 30 cases, the control group was given simple massage therapy, the observation group was given acupuncture and Chinese medicine treatment on the basis of the control group, the degree of pain and treatment effect of two groups were compared. Result: The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.67%, the control group was 80.00%, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05). After treatment, the degree of pain in two groups were relieved, and the observation group was improved significantly than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with manipulation in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation with spinal stenosis has significant curative effect, has clinical significance.
