Abstract

Leiyang Academy built in the Ming Chongzhen nine(AD 1636),it has filled the blank at that time for the Leizhou region's academic education,it attempts to bestir the style of learning,save the culture and education declining trend of Leizhou.Thus,that Leiyang Academy's name begins in the Yuan Dynasty is a fallacy: a misreading of ancient literature.
