Determination of Notoginsenoside R1、Ginsenoside Rg1 and Ginsenoside Rb1 in Hushen Capsule(III) by HPLC

Abstract

Objective To develop a method for detetmining notoginsenoside R1、ginsenoside Rg1 and ginsenoside Rb1 in Hushen capsule(Ⅲ) by HPLC. Methods The HPLC was used for the determination of notoginsenoside R1、ginsenoside Rg1 and ginsenoside Rb1. The column was Sunfire C18(4.6 mm x 250 mm, 5 μm). The mobile phase was acetonitrile-water, and the gradient elution was used. The detection wavelength was set at 203 nm, and the flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1. Results Notoginsenoside R1、ginsenoside Rg1 and ginsenoside Rb1 showed a good linear relationship in the range of 0.086~1.032μg(r=0.999 8),0.346~4.152μg(r=0.999 9) and 0.352~4.224μg(r=0.999 9),respectively. The average recovery of notoginsenoside R1 was 98.1% with RSD of 1.4%, and the average recovery of ginsenoside Rg1 was 98.1 % with RSD of 1.8%,and the average recovery of ginsenoside Rb1 was 97.1 % with RSD of 1.3%. Conclusion The method is accurate and stable, which can be used for the determination of notoginsenoside R1、ginsenoside Rg1 and ginsenoside in Hushen capsule(Ⅲ).
