Abstract

In Ankang of Hanjiang basin,Shaanxi,Dioscorea composite was cultivated in warm shed with temperature at 5-10 ℃ and with soil covering 80cm..In the third year,the individual plant yield of Dioscorea composite reaches 1.48 kg with diosgenin content at 3.01%.The yield and diosgenin content of Dioscorea composite is higher than local variety Dioscorea zingiberensis.
