Abstract

Objective: Study on quality of wild dioscorea and cultural dioscorea in Yunnan Dali Area, to afford theory data for dioscorea introduce and culture. Methods: Detection by UV spectrophotometry Results:Disogenin quantity of wild dioscorea is a little more than cultural dioscorea's. Disogenin quantity of dioscorea dug in spring is a little higher than it dug in autumn. Conclusions: No significant differences in Disogenin quantity between wild dioscorea and cultural dioscorea. So, cultural dioscorea can be instead of wild dioscorea.
