Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy and adverse reactions of low-doe amiodarone in older patients with ventricular arrhythmias. Methods Retrospective analysis of the 59 olderly patients with ventricular arrhythmia, who accept low-doses amiodarone treatment from October 2002 to January 2007 in our hospital. Results The total effective rate was 91%.The effective maintenance dose was(147±48)mg/d,the lowest was 100mg/d.6 cases relapsed during maintenance treatment, after increase dose the 6 cases were controled;adverse reaction rate was 10.1%,with no deaths. Conclusion Low-dose amiodarone treatment of the gerontal ventricular arrhythmias was an effective method, the patients were all well tolerated,it fit to used in base hospitals widely.
