Abstract
[Objective] The research aimed to study the insecticidal activity of extracts from Polygonum aviculare L.against wolfberry aphids.[Method]The insecticidal activities of the ethanol extracts and 5 kinds of extracts with petroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate,n-butanol,water from P.aviculare against wolfberry aphids were studied.[Result]The results showed that the extract displayed high contact activity to wolfberry aphids. The corrected mortality after 48 h reached 95.4 % under the concentration of 50.00 g/L and the regression equation of virulence was y=4.745 7+1.098x,LC50 =1.707 g/L.The insecticidal activities of 5 extracts against wolfberry aphids was in the order of petroleum ether chloroform n-butanol ethyl acetate water. The corrected mortality of petroleum ether extracts after 48 h was 96.7%.[Conclusion] P.aviculare had very high contact toxicity to wolfberry aphids. The insecticidal active substances were a kind of weak or non-polar compounds.
