Abstract
Objective:To study the regulatory effects of Ji De Sheng SheYao(JSD),a Chinese patent medicine,on the function of dendritic cell of mice.Methods:Forty-eight BALB-c mice were randomly divided into four groups(12 mice in each group): the normal control group, model group, treatment group 1 and treatment group 2.The drugs were given by intragastric gavage in every group twice every day, lasting twenty-one days. The normal control group and the model group were given the same volume of normal saline, the mice of the two treatment groups were respectively treated with drug(JSD) in corresponding dosages. From the 15th day,all experimental mice expect those of the normal control group were administered with the cyclophosphamide (30 mg/kg,iH)for seven days. The surface molecules of dendritic cells(DCs) the function of DCs and the concentration of interleukin-12(IL-12) were measured. Results:The expression of major histocompatibility complex(MHC)-Ⅱ,CDllc in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in model group. The abilities of DCs to stimulate T lymphocyte proliferation of mice in the treatment group were markedly higher than that of mice in model group; The contents of IL-12 in DCs's supernatants of treatment group were significantly higher than those in model group. Conclusions:JSD can increase the DCs' immune function of immune-suppressed mice.
