On the Bian Zhilin's Poetic Creation in the Yan An Period——in the perspective of The Collection of Comforting and Appreciation Letters

From 1938 to 1939,Bian Zhilin had been visiting Yan An for a year.The life in Yan An was the enormous impact upon his creative writing,which was reflected in his work The Collection of Comforting and Appreciation Letters.The deepening of the realistic style,as contrasted with the expansion of the personal style of the previous modernists,as well as his remodeling of impersonality,etc.,formed the major features of the book.Meanwhile,such features also became the new logical starting point for the poet's resumption of a new creative journey.
