Abstract

The features of early poetry(1933—1935) of Bian ZhiLin lie in successful synthesis of Western poetic devices and the best of Chinese poetic tradition.This thesis elucidates influence of T.S.Eliot on Bian ZhiLin s poetry,stresses the explanation on poetic thought of of T.S.Eliot and reception and modeling of this experience by early poetry(1933—1935) of Bian ZhiLin.
