Abstract

To investigate the role of Cd and water combined stress conditions in leaves of Maize Seedlings damage and antioxidase activity, under the different concentration of Cd( 200mmol / L,400mmol / L,800mmol / L) and water stress( PEG6000 simulation, the concentrations of 10%,20%,40%) conditions, this paper studied and compared malonaldehyde( MDA) and superoxide dismutase( SOD),catalase( CAT),peroxidase( POD) effects of antioxidant enzyme activity in maize seedlings. The data showed that in the Cd and water stress conditions, the content of MDA increased,SOD、CAT and POD showed a trend of first increase then decrease.
