Treatment on Type III prostatitis with blood circulation promotion decoction

Abstract
Objectives: To observe the therapeutic effects of blood circulation promotion decoction on the treatment of type III prostatitis.Methods: Ninety cases of type Ⅲ prostatitis were randomly divided into the treatment group(n=45) and the control group(n=45).The treatment group was treated with blood circulation decoction and the control group was treated with levofloxacin and Tamsulosin.Prostatitis symptom index(NIH-CPSI) was observed for the two groups and the differences were statistically analyzed.Results: For the treatment group,12 cases got cured,14 cases showed improved symptoms,16 cases were effected and 3 cases failed the treatment.The overall efficiency rate is 93.3%;The control group produced 5 cured cases,9 improved cases,17 effective cases and 12 failed cases,the overall efficiency rate being 72.1%.The therapeutic effects of the treatment group is significantly better than the control(P0.05);The symptom,life quality and NIH-CPSI of the treatment group was also significantly better than the control(P0.05).The two groups showed no significant difference in pain relieving(P0.1).Conclusion: Blood circulation decoction can produce better therapeutic effects on type III chronic prostatitis.
