Therapeutic effect of Shiyuanhuazhiyuyang decoction on 40 cases of duodenal ulcer

Abstract

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Shiyuanhuazhiyuyang decoction on 40 cases of duodenal ulcer.Methods 70 patients with duodenal ulcer were randomly divided into two groups.40 patients in treatment group were treated with Shiyuanhuazhiyuyang decoction,one dose daily,decocted in water for oral dose.30 patients in control group were given ranitidine 0.3g,taking before sleep;amoxycillin 0.5 g,three times a day;forminitrazole 0.2 g,three times a day,with a treatment course of 30 days for both groups.Results The cure rate was 75% in treatment group and 50.0% in control group,there was a significant difference between the two groups (P0.05).Conclusion Shiyuanhuazhiyuyang decoction is effective in treating duodenal ulcer.
