Diagnosis and treatment of 18 fungal rhinosinusitis,analysis by endoscopic

Objective:To discuss the diagnosis and treatment of fungal rhinosinusitis,endoscopic sinus surgery(ESS).Methods:Endocsopic sinus surgery was performed on 16 patients with non-invasive fungal rhinosinusitis.15 of 18 no antifungal agent was used postoperatively.Results:14 of the 18cases were cured.2 of them relapsed during the follow up of 3 months to 3 years.1 was dead.1 refused surgery.Conclusion:The minimally invasive endoscopic sinus surgery can thoroughly eliminate the disease and establish enough sinus drainage and ventilation.ESS is the good treatment for non-invasive fungal rhinosinusitis.
