Abstract
Owing to die different understanding of the Chinese conditions, women activists in modern Chinese history came up with three deferent outlooks on women movements. Feminists advocated dial women should obtain dieir rights by participating in politics. The Christen young women league stressed that women movement should revolve around the improvement of women's qualities, strengthening their abilities of social participation.
