Expression of p53,c erbB2 and PCNA in Cervical Malignant Adenoma and Its Diagnostic Value

Abstract

Objective To investigate the expression of p53,c erbB 2 and PCNA in cervical malignant adenoma(MA)and its value in diagnosis.Methods By S P immunohistochemical methods,the expression of p53,c erbB 2 and PCNA in 21 cases of MA were studied.Results The positive expression of p53,c erbB 2 and PCNA in MA was 47.6%,4.7% and 100.0% respectively,while they were all negative in 35 cases of cervical benign lesions.The positive rates of p53 and PCNA in both MA and cervical adenocarcinoma had not significantly different.Conclusion Detection of p53 and PCNA is helpful for the differential diagnosis of MA.
