Study on the Role of Weikang Jiaowan of the Protective Function in Gastric Mucosal Injury of Model Rats with Duodenogastric Reflux

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the gastric mucosal protection effect of Weikang jiaowan in duodenogastric refluent(DGR)rats.Methods:The SD rats were stochastic divided into normal control group,DGR group and Weikang Jiaowan therapy group,and the rat models were established by operation.DGR group was given stomach instillation with 0.9% brine everyday,and the latter was given stomach instillation with Weikang Jiaowan(30mg/kg weight)everyday.After 8 weeks,the gastric specimens in rats were examined by pathology.The thickness of gastric gelatinous mucus,gastric hexosamine and phospholipids were detected.The level of gastric mucosal PGE2 was measured by radioimmunoassay.Results:The histological change in Weikang Jiaowan therapy group was apparently less than in DGR group.In Weikang Jiaowan therapy group,the thickness of gastric gelatinous mucus,content of gastric hexosamine and phospholipids,and level of gastric PGE2 were apparently high than those in DGR group(P0.05);but compared with normal control group,the thickness of gastric gelatinous mucus,content of gastric hexosamine and PGE2 were still reduced obviously(P0.01).Conclusion:Weikang Jiaowan have a beneficial protective function in gastric mucosal injury of model rats with duodenogastric reflux.
