Abstract

Objective:To study the relationship between the central corneal thickness(CCT)and the measurements of intraocular pressure(IOP)with non-contact tonometer. Methods:CCT and IOP were mearured on 411 cases who are myopia, the data were analysised by SPSS 10.0.Result:The mean of CCT was 549 μm±31μm,the mean of IOP was 16.74mmHg±2.58mmHg.A positive correlation was found between IOP and CCT(r=0.447,P0.001).Regression equation for IOP(Y)=-7.854+0.0448X(X=CCT,P0.001).According to CCT,all cases were classfied into 3 groups and a significant difference was found between IOP in different groups. Conclusion:The measurements of IOP were influenced significantly by CCT in myopia group.
