Abstract

Objective To discuss the relationship between center corneal thick and intro-ocular pressure in Myopia. Methods 113 young patients (225 eyes) with myopia were recruited in this study from August to October, 2008.The mean age was 25.8±4.1;the manifest refractive spherical equivalent(MRSE) from -11.62D to -1.50D with a mean of -6.22±2.43D. Intro-ocular pressure (IOP) was measured with Non-contact tonometer. The center corneal thick (CCT) was measured by corneal pachymeter at the same time. Results IOP values: 14.12±2.77 mmHg. CCT value:527.24±31.49 μm. IOP has a positive correlation with CCT(r=0.43, P0.01);There was no correlation between MRSE and CCT or IOP. Conclusions IOP has a positive correlation with CCT in myopia.
