Abstract

Objective:To compare the expressions of TNF-α in villi and decidua tissues of spontaneous abortion after IVF-ET or natural conception and of artificial abortion, and to understand its effect on early embryo development. Methods:Using immunohistochemical technique(SP methods),the expressions of TNF-α were tested in villi and decidua tissues from spontaneous abortion,10 cases after IVF-ET(IVF-ET group) and 20 cases from natural conception(spontaneous group),and from 20 cases of artificial abortion of normal pregnancy(normal group).Results:TNF-α expressed in all early pregnancy tissues.Compared to the normal group,TNF-α expression in both spontaneous abortion groups had significant difference(P0.01).Conclusions:This study further confirms that TNF-α adjust reproductive immunity and effect maternal-fetal interface. The abnormal expressions of TNF-α play an important role in spontaneous abortion which should be one of reasons.
