Abstract
A new catalytic method for determining trace Chromium has been studied,Chromium(Ⅵ) can catalyze the decolorization oxidation of methylene blue by hydrogen peroxide in acetate acid - acetate natrium medium. The detection limit of this method is 7.16×10-6gL-1。The linear range of determination is 0-2.5μg/25mLCr(Ⅵ). The method has been used to determine trace Cr(Ⅵ)in electroplating wastewater with satisfactory results。
